Are you struggling to find healthier ways to cope with the challenges life has presented? Perhaps you have a history of relapse or worry that therapy won't help you. You do not have to do it alone; seeking counseling is a courageous first step. My counseling style is warm, empathetic, integrative, pragmatic and person-centered.
I believe that a therapeutic relationship should be a collaborative one in which you and I work together to discover creative strategies, solutions and, at times, even humorous insights to help you practice new ways to thrive. I have experience counseling adults, families and couples coping with grief, trauma, addiction, existential concerns, sexuality and recovery. I look forward to exploring these areas and more with you.
I graduated from St. Edward's University with a B.A. in Anthropology and an M.A. in Counseling with a dual emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Counseling. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and dog, practicing yoga, reading thrillers and enjoying nature photography. I am a descendant of the Old 300 and a second generation Native Austinite.
